Discover the practical measures being implemented across ICA2026 to reduce environmental impact and promote responsible event management.

Certified Paper and Environmentally Responsible Printing for Signage and Decorations

To reduce the environmental impact of conference operations, ICA2026 will use FSC-certified paper materials for directional signage, information displays, and venue decorations.
In addition to using FSC-certified paper materials, signage and printed materials will be produced using environmentally conscious printing cartridges designed to reduce environmental impact. These cartridges incorporate recycled materials and utilize water-based inks, helping to reduce resource consumption and support more sustainable printing practices.

By selecting certified materials, the conference promotes responsible procurement practices while visibly demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship.

Rental of Reusable Artificial Trees and Decorative Elements

Welcome Reception will feature a Bon Odori dance experience inspired by traditional Japanese festivals. By utilizing reusable decorative materials, the event aims to minimize waste generation while creating an authentic and memorable cultural experience.

Water Dispensers for Refillable Drinking Water

Water dispensers will be installed at the conference venue to provide participants with convenient access to drinking water throughout the event.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles (My Bottle) and make use of the drinking water stations available throughout the venue. By bringing a reusable bottle, attendees can help reduce single-use plastic waste and contribute to the conference's sustainability efforts.

By reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles, the conference aims to minimize waste generation and support its broader sustainability goals.
