For Virtual Participants
The applicable tax category (taxable or non-taxable) will be automatically determined based on the information you provide during registration.
Please ensure that you correctly select your Country/Region of Residence and Registration Fee Payer, as these details will determine the tax status applied to your registration fee.
For virtual participants residing in Japan whose registration fee payer is a local corporation outside Japan, please register individually. Manual processing is required for these specific cases to ensure correct tax determination.
If you are registering as a group, please check in Section 6 as well.
*Registration fees are set in Japanese yen. The USD amounts are for reference only,
calculated at an exchange rate of USD/JPY 152.95, and may differ at the time of payment.
*Discount periods end at noon (JST) on the designated dates.
2. Payment
Payment can be made by credit card only (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club).
Please note that other payment methods are not accepted.
Your registration will be completed only after payment is confirmed.
3. How to Register
Once registered, changes to “registration category,” or “name,” are not permitted. If a change is unavoidable, you will need to cancel your existing registration and re-register, so please take care when entering your information.
After your registration is completed, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to you.
If you are using a Gmail address, please note that our emails may not appear in your inbox and could be filtered into your spam folder.

4. For IAJ Members
Details on the registration procedure are available on The Institute of Actuaries of Japan (IAJ) member website.

※ Only those who are IAJ members at the time of registration are eligible.
5. Registration for Presenters / Speakers
Presenters and speakers will receive an ID and password after acceptance, which are required for registration.
Presenters / Speakers are requested to register after receiving the acceptance notification for their presentation.
Acceptance notifications are expected to be sent out on Monday, December 15.
If you plan to present your research as a group, only the main speaker will receive the discount. To finalize the conference program, speakers are requested to complete their registration by March 2, 2026.
Please note that if you register without using the ID/PW provided by the ICA2026 Secretariat, the Presenter/Speaker discount will not apply.
If your paper/presentation is not accepted, you will need to register at the regular rate.
Further details will be announced at a later date.
6. Group Registration
For group registration, one representative should complete the online registration and payment on behalf of the group.
After payment is completed, the representative will receive login information (ID/PW) for each participant’s My Page.
The representative should then share the My Page information with each group member.
If your group includes potential presenters/speakers, please complete registration after the acceptance notice on Monday, December 15, as noted in Section 5.
For Virtual Participation
If any group member is registering as a Virtual Participant, the applicability of tax on the registration fee will be determined based on the residence of the representative and the payer of the registration fee.
If the residence or payer of any group member differs from that of the representative, please register individually rather than as a group.
For virtual participants residing in Japan whose registration fee payer is a local corporation outside Japan, please register individually. Manual processing is required for these specific cases to ensure correct tax determination.
7. Full-Time Academic / Student Registration
Students must provide proof of status (e.g., student ID).
Please prepare a file in PDF, JPG, PNG, or GIF format in advance for upload during registration.
8. IAA Bursary Program
For details, please contact IAA representatives in this regard.
9. Cancellation
Please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 0:00 (JST) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
If you are unable to attend, registration may be transferred to another person.
※ Transfers are only permitted within the same registration category.
To change your participation type, please cancel your current registration and register again.
If you registered under the wrong category, please cancel and re-register correctly.
For cancellations, participation type (On-site or Virtual) changes, or transfers, please contact the ICA2026 Secretariat.

10. VISA Invitation
Visa support documents will be issued only upon request from each regional actuarial association for participants registered through their organization and a fee of JPY 8,000 per document will apply.
To request VISA support documents, the group representative should email the ICA2026 Secretariat after completing registration.

※ ICA2026 will provide VISA support documents required to attend the academic congress.
For travel outside this period, please make the necessary arrangements on your own.

11. Receipt
Receipts can be downloaded from your My Page.
For group registrations, only the representative can download the receipt.
